Alliance and Horde Mount Total

I am Horde with no alliance characters. With the new patch, the mount journal seems to indicate if i had the alliance mounts they will add to my mount total. Can anyone confirm this?

It is the case on the beta, I can even see paladin"s mounts on my shaman.
On the PTR it's not the case. Paladin's mounts doesn't apppear (and it is not counted). And it looks the same with Alliance mounts.

I'd like to confirm they do not add to your achievement total. I main Alliance with 1 Horde 90 (for Double Agent) and I just bought all the Orc Wolf mounts and my total counted for the achievement stayed at 170. While the total in the tab rose to 176.
