Mobs despawning before I can skin them?

So yeh.

Pretty self explanatory really. I'm farming leather in nagrand running around on my wolf, starfalling happily. once a pack ios dead I loot and start skinning and quite often mobs will despawn before/as im skinning. Is this a by product of the heavy populations causing quick respawns? It's annoying as hell either way.

Sometimes it's not, as some mobs just despawn faster. But most of the time, the despawn rate is tied to the spawn rate.

I guess it balances out in the end as even though you're missing out on some skin they respawn faster anywhos. Just feel like I'm being robbed!
