I do confirmations of critical failures just because I like critical failures.
For combat, you roll your attack and if it doesn't hit the target's AV then you screw up spectacularly as opposed to just missing.
For non-combat, it's the DC.
It really cuts down on it and it's no longer 5% for every single roll you do.
Absolutely, every GM has house rules. But he was saying that people don't want to play until they know how to play. So have one session for new players where almost anything goes, but punish the rule breaking by adding more difficulty or severe consequences or something.
That was probably these a little while back as far as physical products goes. Bundled game wasn't that great but meh, will get a lot more use of the thing than that.
