When will this game ACTUALLY launch?

I'd agree with that. Gameplay was basically running all around the map for simple quests. Very small set of abilities, too.

Q1 2015 will be Closed beta for Overwatch and then you add around a year to that.. Q4 2015 - Q1 2016


Beta might even be shorter depending on how much they wanna add before release

i reckon we will see a couple more heroes and a map or two more + game modes before it releases

Yeah, but Titan had been in development for several years before this year's Blizzcon, and we know Overwatch is just the PvP segment of Titan. I know nobody expect Blizzard can say for sure, but I'm guessing they had Titan originally scheduled for a 2015 release, except they couldn't make it work.

I was looking forward to Firefall quite a bit. To be honest it fell flat on its face.

I actually think Overwatch will probably do very well whenever it will come. I suspect Overwatch is designed with Esports in mind.
