wtf is a BOP cap? in RBGs

I got back into wow recently and all these new terms got me confused. What is a BoP cap? I play a pala (obviously) :3

Not sure, but just guessing by the name: too many hand of protections (used ot be called Blessing of Protection, hence BoP, the short hand just stuck around). Sort of like combat ressing in raids, you can only do so many? I have no idea, I don't do RBGs.

there's a bug where you can BoP a rogue who cloaks at the same time, so he can cap a base while nobody can stop him.

aha, that explains it. However do rogue here, ferals and priests (and a mage) ^^

Yeah I know BoP ofc, however didn't know the mechanic ^^
