"God Gave us a pinky so we can sprint and crouch."
I use 'em both, TMW for icon-based alerts and WA for text-based. A guy in my guild rolled paladin and requested my WeakAura strings and I said, yo, brother, you want to hit up the new thread on MMO Champ for those because mine are so minimalistic they're literally text-only. My SS WeakAura is simply a white number above my toon's head for example.
My UI's kind of clusterfuckily done, like half my binds were programmed using the in-game keybind menu and the other half in Bartender, so if you looked at a screenshot you'd think my taunt was '9' when it's really 'g'.
lazel we're only suppose to troll in the discussion, not guide.

Legendary ring DPS (crit+multistrike) or Tank (bonus armor+versatility) for Seraphim build?
Thanks guys.
the critical was so tempting on the DPS ring..
EDIT
So how is the recent haste buff affect Seraphim build, is haste better than crit now?
EDIT 2
brb re-enchanting gear2) Haste rules the roost. Stack it up to 50%, being aware of the haste-cap limits provided in the table earlier in the thread.

Any HM encounter tips on timing HA?
I've mainly been using Sera-SW but am thinking of switching to HA as it sims better. What has deterred me is uncertainty about when to use HA. You want to maximise uptime of the buff, but also might want to time it to coincide with the need for burst dps (have it up for heroism) and perhaps as a defensive CD.
Anyone got any tips on this? Which fights would you not use HA on CD for? I'm thinking that, so far as timing allows, you'd want to have it up for add tanking in Ko'ragh and Imperator intermissions, 4 motes with Tectus, Butcher's enrage, anything else? (I'm still learning the HM fights.)
hey how do you guys feel about knights badge for a player who doesnt plan to do mythic content? is a 3/3 knights badge still our #1 trinket or does pols/evergaze(heroic) surpass it? (ignoring scabbard)
Woo unbanned.
Looks good, nice work.
When you do the edits, maybe put in a line underneath your explanation of why we go for the stats, something simple like:
BA > Haste > Crit > Mastery > Vers > MS
For the reason that we both know people won't read it and half the posts will eventually be "guise wut stat priority" and repeating the answer will be as much fun as licking a urinal.

Whether it surpasses it or not, I cannot say for certain, but it's certainly something exceptional to have laying around. If you've got the money and you aren't about to get the others like right now then you might as well, unless you particularly had something else to put the money towards.
I downloaded and run the newest simcraft and according to it haste does not outweight mastery or crit.
what I got was
BA 5.25
Avoidance 4.05
Str 4.00
Mastery 3.30
Crit 3.03
Haste 2.24
Vers 2.11
Mult 1.52
I'm pretty sure simcraft hasn't been updated.
When querying Sacred Duty this appears:
It looks like it's still seeing Sacred Duty as 5% rather than 30%. While I'm not sure, I'd bet since this hasn't changed the 90:1% conversion for haste isn't there either.Code:Name : Sacred Duty (id=165375) [Passive] Class : Protection Paladin Spell Level : 90 Attributes : ......x. ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ ........ : Passive (6) Effects : #1 (id=233413) : Apply Aura (6) | Unknown effect sub type (405) Base Value: 5 | Scaled Value: 5 | Misc Value: 917504 Description : You gain $s1% more of the Haste stat from all sources.
They're relative values. So with crit at 3.03 and multistrike at 1.52, one point of crit provides the same level of effectiveness as two points of multistrike. Whether it's TMI/damage taken per second/DPS or whatever depends on what particular metric you're looking at. Also worth noting these change when adding or losing stats and are very dependent on what armor it's simmed with and what talents you're using. Your values could be considerably different than that posters, which could be different from mine.

Looks like the seeming SoT nerf has gone live on EU realms as well - I'll wait for a formal patchnote before updating the guide with the SoT and the Haste changes; expecting a SoR nerf to come any time now since I refuse to believe they'll let SoR be top single-target DPS.
Yup, it's official...
Paladin (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator)
Protection
Reduced the damage of Seal of Truth for Protection Paladins by 80%. Protection Paladins should primarily use Seal of Insight for defensive value.
[Currently in Testing]Seraphim now grants 750 of each stat for Protection Paladins (down from 1000).
Will be interesting to see how much of a difference the Seraphim nerf makes.
I love how blizzard is blindly nerfing a class while buffing another for like 6 weeks in a row.....I wouldn't care about a "dps" nerfing since....... Its not our job but on mitigation /survivability part a nerf equalls with joke...clap clap mum blizz I hope it will never make it live.
