    Lightbulb [custom map] Lava Run!

    Since there is also a map-editor coming to HotS.
    I decided to give it a concept go.. i hope we get similar options to make a map and triggers..

    Name: Lava Run!

    • 6 Keeps per side.
    • There are 3 lanes that spawn units
    • Once in a while the map triggers an earthquake due all the battles going on ;)
      When this happens you have like 15 sec to either run to safety behind your wall or run to a "Recall minion" spot (also a save spot) and recall all minions with 300% run speed buff for that lane.
    • After the response time lava will erupt on the map. (see image)
    • The lava lasts for 20 seconds
    • All heroes and minions die when caught by the lava.
    • If you defeat a boss on the map, all heroes near the "Boss minion" are immune to lava for as long as the boss lasts.
      (Boss is immune aswell)
    • Destroy the enemies core to win the map.

    Any advice to improve is welcome!

    Maybe move the boss to where the mercs are, it will be easier to get the boss, having two bosses at the same place would be very hard to will when contesting it.

    So when your minions are in the enemies lane will they not get hit by lava? Or will the Lava even go passed that if they are destroyed?

    The idea was to stop the lava at the gate, even if they are destroyed. kinda hard to show without 3D but i want to elevate the terrain a bit from the 1st gates on out. So you only have to worry about your minions in the middle part, once they are past the 1st enemy gate they won't run back.

    The boss switch is a good idea, will update the map after a few more replies, so i can edit everything in at once.

    Reminds me of those SC2 maps. I like the idea, I was thinking about lava as a map concept too!

    Maybe another Siege Camp on the bottom left and top right would be nice.
