So I was playing some league for the first time in awhile and I saw that Ahri had a different default photo. Then I looked and noticed that a lot of the older champions have a new default photo. Any idea why that is?

Some champions needed a graphical update. So they changed the Classic skins the ingame appearances and the icons.
The other who didn't get a complete VU just got their splash art and icon reworked.

Some of the splash art was horrible. So they updated them.

Would be weird to keep the 2010 art. I really love how they keep updating the models and art, though I long by some of the "classic" models, such as anime-style Garen and Sivir that didn't look like a giant flying ass.
