simcraft says my DPS is about 21k, whoch ilvl 640

Is that a lot lower than it should be? My mage is showing as 21k on 622 gear.

Windwalker single target dps isn't stellar after all the nerfs.

If you set SimC to your own skill level and own gear then it shouldnt be far off. There isn't a ton of variation in gear so I'm not sure what can be done other than to get higher ilvl gear. Maybe post your armory to see.

21k single target sounds about right, and I think that's about what I was at when I was there. Obviously which items you have are important, though, so 640 with shit tier weapons won't be as good as 640 with Heroic weapons.

Cool thanks guys, it seems generally my dps is where it should be then, and there isn't something massively out of line.

It's just annoying that my mage is doing so much better.

If you have logs those are much better to evaluate performance with than looking at recount and comparing it to SimC
