Indonesia is in a weird place. At the same time the government is trying to expand its tourist appeal, the public is embracing conservative Islam. It's creating a lot of obvious tension.

Don't really plan to go there any time soon though. Current plan is next time I go back home (from NZ to France), probably next year, I'll go a different way than on my way here, so probably through South America then maybe Africa. Then next time I'll see... so not before 2017 probably

So, apparently, I wasn't receiving rental assistant, even though I thought I was. I was next on the list based on my income, and someone moved out. So now I pay very little in rent. I'm weirded out by it.

I don't know. I feel a little bad because I don't...really need it. I mean, I just saved up and dropped almost $1,100 on a new computer, a couple months after I dumped about $450 on a PS3 and games (I'm moving up to stay at least a few years behind new technology). Plus, I'm still not sure exactly what it is and why.

I don't know. I feel a little bad because I don't...really need it. I mean, I just saved up and dropped almost $1,100 on a new computer, a couple months after I dumped about $450 on a PS3 and games (I'm moving up to stay at least a few years behind new technology). Nah. Unless full backwards compatibility is a thing. But I hardly play my PS3 now as is. And the last game I played was FFX HD (a PS2 game). I could expand my library though.
