Is 15 Kills not a confirmed number?

My warrior as of this week has 16 H HM kills and a cache mission just popped and it isn't mythic. Is 15 not a confirmed number or do the kills have to be within a certain timeframe?

15 was a minimum it is somewhere between 15-18 kills

It looks like either a bunch of people got lucky with their timing, or at some point they switched it: it looks like how it works now (and again, unsure if this is how it always was or if they switched it) is that it only checks once a week to see if you have the proper number of kills.

All I can confirm is that I got my mythic cache after having a ton of h. Kargath kills spammed in the same week. Without those I would not have hit 15. I think I actually was at 16 or 17 total h. kills, but either way a good chunk of those were loot-ineligible kills.

Yes you do.

Also if your mission popped while killing the 15th boss or before that it'll be the old version and not. Mythic as it wouldn't have registered your 15th kill when it popped up.

That's not true! You can kill 15 Kargaths (or whatever boss) on one day/lockout. That's what many players did the first week of HM.

Nope, you're wrong. I've cleared heroic highmaul loot eligible only once on my paladin, yet I got the mythic cache on it due to tons of loot ineligible kills the same week.

Either that, or you need far less than 15 kills to trigger it.

I think there's a time determination (15 kills in a certain window) as well as an Imp Kill required, but not sure. That seems to be consistent in the people I've seen with problems.

Could have sworn it was fixed, oh and I've never killed imp on normal or heroic, I'm 6/7 and got my heroic box from 15 loot eligible kills.

Hmm, there was a whole guild on my server that had 6/7 with 20+ kills, and no cache.

I had the same problem as OP. It showed 15 kills on armory yet mine wasn't mythic.

much as some people actually get whorthwile loot from salvage crates. most do not. blizzard loves to poke you where you poop and call it a Popsicle.

So would the 5 heroic kills also count to supplement the normal kills to get above the 15kills threshold?

I believe this is the case, yes. But not certain

I can confirm it was 15 for me, plus I didn't need to be loot eligible. I cleared full heroic the first week on my Shaman, then cleared heroic again the second week and helped the alt raid do Mar'gok (killing him twice that week). A couple days later I got a Mythic Cache.

Agreed, have you killed the last boss OP? Also was this all done in the same week?

Would be nice to know if it's been either a) Changed b) Has underlying rules
