Finished the story for Mario Odyssey and the reviewers were not exaggerating it was by far the best finale out of any 3d Mario platformer.

That's honestly not saying much since it IS a Mario game. Not saying that to bash it in any way (because it does look like a solid and fun game), just pointing out that when comparing it to previous Mario games, it wouldn't take much to have that title :P. It's like a better Mario 64, which a lot people considered to be the best Mario game before SMO.

Once again, not bashing the game, just pointing out my opinion on it :P. Because if I actually owned a Switch, I'd get SMO to play for sure.

To each their own. I personally find a lot of the Mario games to be either boring or just good for casual fun. There are exceptions to that in the franchise, but for me personally I don't feel like they are all absolutely amazing games.

Of course, I DID say that it was my opinion and nothing more and how I'd definitely get SMO to play if I actually owned a Switch (because it looks good for a casual couch playing session here and there). So there's that as well.
