I am very stuck right now though. Everything costs so much and yet I'm not making cookies quick enough to do anything. I'm at 132 million cookies per seconds, my best upgrade costs almost 3 trillion, just to give me another 42 million-ish boost. And it's been sitting for damn near a whole day and still not halfway there.

I'm at +775,751 Cookies per Second and it's taking a while to make progress. I had a lot of fun at the start where progression seemed to happen at a good pace, but it's slowed pretty significantly, boo. It seems like I need to wait for a golden cookie event thing to happen to get the good shit.

They're meant to be "idle" games, so it's sort of a common theme. There isn't really a way to play these kinds of games 100% actively. So leaving it sit and collect for a bit happens. What they COULD do with Cookie Clicker though, is buff actual clicking. At the beginning you have to do it, but once you build up enough to play idle, it's just not worth it.
