Our toilet is exploding.
I flushed it and the handle fell off as I flushed it and now it won't stop flushing no matter what I do. It's super loud and it's shaking.
Help.

First of all there is a valve connecting to it on the behind which you should probably shut off. if you have one of them standard gustavsberg toilets, then there is a float valve like this https://i.ytimg.com/vi/lBXwgH5NwVI/hqdefault.jpg which handles the water shut-off system


you probable have some american stuff tho so i have no idea, sorry =(

You may be able to stop it from flushing by reaching inside the tank and pushing the stopper down, that should stop it (what happened when the handle fell off is the stopper in the tank wasn't able to go down and close again because water is constantly going into the bowl and not coming into the tank and lifting the float which normally once lifted closes the stopper.

If that part is broken or you aren't able to do it, call the building people and ask for help.

There is no tank. It's the exact type of toilet that you would find in a public restroom.

That stuff sounds pretty cool actually (especially the theoretical aspects of jet engines and material science, what're they like?), I love science-y things! Just not currently studying science stuff, doing liberal arts and IT kind of stuff right now.

It's fun, just becomes a bit overwhelming with everything at once ^^

Finally fixed the fudged up locking nut on my dirt bike so I could adjust the chain tension. That was immensely frustrating.

Nice p00! So how does that affect the bike's usability?

I'm awful at explaining things but I will give it a shot.

Basically there was a lot off slack in the chain and I needed to tighten it up. Because of the slack in the chain the bike would jerk a whole bunch (in the lower gears) if you let of the throttle any amount then got back on it, even with using the clutch a lot. Chain slap is no bueno.

Imagine being on a bicycle and having someone tow you with a rope. You have no brakes and the person towing you speeds up then slows down, allowing the rope to go slack, then speeds up again and having it jerk you. It's kinda like that.
