There was a discussion about our graduation trip this friday, someone suggested LA->Sanfran->Reno (Or Sanfran->LA->Las veg)

After a bit of digging, we found out that cali is humid and some guy online said "70F to 90F is common" we noped the hell out of that idea.

We have arctic climate that has very dry air (The most purchased stuff by tourists in pharmacies are eye drops because their eyes shrivel up )

Humidity + over 65F sound like hell.

someone said it somewhere, atm here it is around 57% humidity @ 28F

regardless of the humidity, those temp numbers (above 70F) don't seem very pleasant for us that are used to maximum of 60F

In the other college you are forced to learn either French, Deutsch or Spanish. I'm quite happy in my school they made English and Danish do, didn't have to add a 4.th language

So is it true that Danish is (not sure which, but it's one of them) Swedish/Norwegian except spoken with potatoes in mouth? I've heard that rumor floating around.

haha, that's mostly a running gag, I guess verbally you could get by with any of those, but some words are different.
Because you mentioned it I actually did go on Duolingo, did the placement test in swedish, kept fucking up words (used danish/norwegian instead of swedish)

instead of vatten i did vand(dk); Instead of flicka i did both jente and pige (No and dk), instead of är i did er(dk), born instead of barn(it's also "barn" in Icelandic so i shouldn't have fucked that one up), ikke instead of inte and so on.
