Utawarerumono 25 - Haku abandons a 10/10 cute girl that would make the perfect wife to go fight some boring war. What a failure, he needs to set his priorities straight.

But seriously, the whole "i can't tell kuon" thing is so manufactured and stupid.

Overall this show was decent, but as a whole it was just kind of boring. It didn't grip me much; I didn't care about the characters at all, really. The girls were cute though.

Bad thing about attending to a federal university is that professors are employed by the government and will almost never be fired. Unless they do something fucked up like raping.
In Belgium university/college are incredibly cheap because they are supported by the government a lot. It costs pretty much 500-1000 euro's to enroll, depending on your credits, sometimes even less. And in some institutions they rarely get any form of suspension or penalty for not doing their job properly unless it can get big in the media. Like a professor that hit a PhD student, the PhD student got suspended, the professor could keep teaching, that changed when media covered it though.

If there's something that I hate is to accept facts without a logical explanation and comprehensive line of thought.
One of the biggest problems in education here in Belgium is closely related to that. A very large part of the teachers merely became teachers because of all the benefits they have and not because they are actually passionate about teaching people. Through elementary up to my final year in high school and even in university i've had less than 10 teachers who actually cared about their students. Someone I went to school with is now a physics teacher for kids age 13-16. Fun fact about the guy, he got deliberated for physics himself almost every single year in highschool, with always between 45-50% himself. He pretty much decided to become a teacher because they got a decent pay and a lot of holidays, only took him 3 years of learning a few books by heart without fully understanding them himself. I pity the guys students really.

InK is basically a setup for the third and final game that is releasing later this year If I've understood correctly. Utawarerumono: Futari no Hakuoro (The Two Hakuoros) or something

@Artorius: Can you do me a favor and resize this to a 100x100 picture? For potential avatar purposes. Danke schon.

We have private and public Universities here, the federal ones are usually great places and are all directly related to the government. They're completely free, but you have to be approved at them obviously.

Pls no. Physics is an amazing subject that gives basic explanations of how the world works, it's like the first direct contact people have with practical math, putting someone bad to teach physics is lame :|

Boku Dake 23: Got to my favorite scenes from the anime (EP 8) and they aren't near as good in the manga, but this is the only time so far I've thought that since I began.

If I simply resize, the girl will be so small that you don't even be able to see her at the avatar.

Finished dragon quest 9 - OK game but I can tell why the hxh guy would play it so much since there seems to be tons of post game grinding if you want to 100%

From the torso up then? It's also not a girl.

Got both private and public ones here as well. The public ones anyone can enter as long as you have more than 1 'credit', and you automatically start with 120 of them, almost for free compared to most countries. The private ones cost pretty much anywhere between 10 and 50K euro's a year depending on which major you choose, but even then it's mainly for MBA's. So as good as everyone will at least go to public ones, where sometimes you end up with amazing professors, but usually either ones that are either awful or don't care about teaching anymore, which is a huge shame imo.

How dare you not use a girl as avatar in this thread.

Boku Dake 28: Wow, Kayo riding in and going to school with them is a huge departure from the anime. Adds a layer of creep considering I know who the bad guy is (or at least think I do unless they change it).

I'll admit I'd totally nab Megumin

Boku Dake 32: Damn, all this back story for the villain makes him fucking worse. Also, I never connected that it was the villain speaking of the hamster story in the anime finale. Makes waaaay more sense now. The anime really could have used this segment.

Yeah I need to limit myself, I bought 4 this week plus DoAX3 CE and Nights of Azure CE comes this week along with a few Blu''s. I'm going to set a limit to 1 maybe 2 figures a month at most.

About teachers, education and shit: Things seem to be really different pretty much everywhere in the world since I'm sometimes just awed how a teacher wouldn't care about teaching. Ok University is whole different story since the first priority is research and not teaching, they aren't exactly what I'd call teachers. I suppese unis have just as crappy teachers and have the same inherent problems

However, here all teachers from elementary school to high school are really passionate about their jobs. They teach because they want to do so. They wouldn't be able to be there if that wasn't the case since in Finland, teacher's education is one of the toughest places to get admited to. It's on par with medicine and law school. And I'm not even joking here.
On top of that the education is actually really long since they need masters degree to become teachers. If one wishes to teach in an elementary school, they need a masters degree in pedagogy. Elementary school teachers in Finland quite literally are masters of teaching.
In junior high school teachers are specialised in few subjects though. They have masters degree in the subject they teach primarily, extensive minor in pedagogy and any other subject they might teach aside from their primary subject.

no private schools. That is apparently shocking as well.
