They feel a lot more natural than the garrisons used to feel, which used to feel super awkward/forced into gameplay imo. The priest campaign is fun so far, haven't done any other classes so I can't comment on it. The Class Halls can be upgraded to give some minor perks as well. So far I'd rate my Class Hall experience 8/10 and afaik each patch will add some new content to them. Originally Posted by Sesto

They have a few similarities, such as sending followers on missions and upgrading for a few perks. But they are far less focused on; I hardly spend any time in my class hall, just stop by for a few things such as Artifact upgrading and then keep moving. Also as Crimson mentioned the class halls have a lot more story to them, not just the "here's a Garrison Campaign mission every week...good luck figuring out why you got it." Basically they took some of the mechanics of garrisons but redirected the focus entirely.
