The stories from the age-soft VN's centered around BETA's like muv-luv alternative and are pretty fucked up apparently, a lot more so than we see in the anime adaptations.

I have a mean score of 5.8. 8 is ridiculously high.

I usually don't score shows I drop since I didn't finish them. I also usually won't finish a show that isn't at least a 7/10 for me. I watch for enjoyment, so if I don't particularly like something it won't get a score from me. I'm also only a year into anime so most of my list is going to be stuff I watched because it was already rated highly.

Muv-luv total eclipse is a spinoff from the muv-luv series I think, the anime had some good episodes, some bad ones, but was still fairly enjoyable.

The muv-luv visual novels will be on steam soon™, albeit censored versions. Backed the kickstarter for it and got the Collectors edition, think only through kickstarter and later through Degica's site you'll be able to get the original versions. Looking forward to Alternative that supposedly has some quite fucked up moments, avoided all spoilers like hell, but even so it's supposed to be a really good VN.
