I didn't notice it before but I guess now I know why this girl felt so good...
The VA is a perfect match.

Started playing zero escape: virtue's last reward today since I had to wait at a hospital for ~3 hours for my old man's procedure (nothing major, they were short an anathesia dr.) Man did this game brighten the tone quite a bit with some comedy and the entire gameplay wise...and having voices is also nice. I only recognize two actresses (phi + luna) off the top of my head and I'll look up the rest at some other point.
So Gabriel Dropout is probably one of my favorite shows this season, the comedy is on point.
Riveting research. But seriously, I think the demographic breakdown is pretty neat.
Why the hell is Attack on Titan even there
I cry at the drop of a pin, and never has Attack on Titan made me feel sad.
I mean, Tokyo Ghoul I'll give them, due to the ending of the anime, but still kinda meh.
I feel like some of these should be on a list of "Animes that made you feel really sad once, but for the most part aren't sad".
Gintama can hit some pretty big home runs in sadness to be fair. Think along the lines of Futurama for a good comparison.

“Snow can only live in the winter. When it nears a fire, it dies. That is its life. It may yearn for summer, but… it can only desire it. In my hand, the snow becomes water, because this is not its world….”“The boundless Heavens and Earth are the final resting place of all living things. Life is like a journey, filled with various scenery, various paths.
Koi to Uso 118
I've been dreading this turn of events for quite a while.
The rare manga with 2 top tier love interests for the MC. Whoever wins, we lose. I remember reading a comment by one guy who was complaining about not missing the kiss scenes from early on. He must be really enjoying this chapter

Should definitely go. It looks amazing and we could always use more Kirito x Asuna.

Fuuka is worth watching if you haven't read the manga. Be careful to avoid spoilers.
Curious thought, what would you guys consider the current "gateway" animes/mangas? I mean like, how Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece were the 3 big ones when I first started reading manga in high school. Animes/mangas that are big enough to catch attention and drag people in with their popularity pretty much, and get them to want to explore more anime/manga.
I'm thinking My Hero Acadamia has a good shot at being one, although they haven't really been setting up much for the long run it seems so I'm worried it may not last as long as any of those. Only other ones I could think of is maybe like, Attack On Titan and Tokyo Ghoul. I haven't really been paying much attention aside to the few things here and there that catch my interest.
