Oh, delivery wasn't a problem, i got it in 3 days wich was faster then the 3 weeks it otherwise are.
But about a month after it i got a letter saying that i didn't pay import taxes, while the delivery guy never said a word and was facing a fine for not paying, wich would have been 60 euro's on top of the 40 euro's import. >.>

I'd ignore that too...the japanese has it as a short A too and there's no way you wouldn't pronounce "Pack" as in "backpack" otherwise while puck is closer to the spoken one

In the anime it's pronounced more like "P-aah-ku" right from the first time Emilia says his name. The romanization would be Pakku.

Yar, it's just one of those weird translations that just seems easier for English people to read. Pack doesn't sound like a name to us, but Puck does.

Tbh, I think me being such a stickler for this is just because I've read 6 arcs with his name being "Pack", so I'm much more used to that. Even more so when the Japanese LN calls him the same. The only reason for it to have a single letter changed is really what you said above. Puck is a name that feels more natural as a name to us (especially considering it's in other things we know of).

Yen press likes to westernize a lot more than they should.
