As long as the movie entertains me i dont give a shit if the dinosaurs can talk let alone not looking right

I know they are just jumping on the bandwagon and this just native advertising so iam not sure why to even get upset!

The only pet peeve I have with it is the Mosasaur. It's like 5 times the size of a blue whale, that's a big stretch even for a genetically engineered themepark monster.

Yeah but the film goes out of it's way saying THESE DINOSAURS ARE INTENTIONALLY DIFFERENT

They spliced the DNA with that of frogs. It removed the feathers and let them grow penises. Boom.

By the way, the "Velociraptors" of Jurassic Park are Velociraptors, but they are Gregory S Paul's idea of Raptors as he thinks the small raptors of Mongolia and the large raptors in the USA are the same species both of which he calls Velociraptor. Whether they are or not, or had feathers or not is really just a matter of opinion.

My personal opinion is that they are both the same species, with the smaller ones obviously being Juvenilles that have feather like scales that they lose as they grow older.

    Frogs have no penis.

Spielberg changed the appearance of Velociraptor to a Deinonychus because he felt it was more scary, the only reason he didn't correctly name them is because again he felt Velociraptor sounded more fierce and easier to pronounce. It's where the joke "It looks like an oversized turkey" stems from because Velociraptors essentially are oversized turkeys

It was a joke. They changed from female to male in the movies.

While I agree that people should shush about Jurassic Park, because its a movie not a documentary, and while I really wasnt a fan of 300... It's a different thing.

300 is a soldier's story about what happened. It's one of those "unreliable narrator" things. The entire movie is one guy telling the story of a battle that only he is alive to see -he's bigging up what happened to look cool in front of his friends, so it makes sense that it's all bullshit. Jurassic park doesn't have that to hide behind.

but its just a fantasy movie D: why cant i just accept that thats what it is.

Great movie, and they even mention why the dinos are different then they actually are thought to have been like. "If we took what they actually were they would have been much different looking. You wanted them bigger, scarier." (Not exact quote but close enough.)

It doesn't hide behind it, it's a social commentary on genetic engineering, the ethics and corporate greed. The dinosaurs are intentionally designed to look scary for $$$

    Better?

'Twas a cutlass swipe or an ounce of lead
Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
    All lookouts clapped on Paradise
All souls bound just contrarywise, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!

Wish Chris Pratt talent could've been used in better made movies. Guardians and Jurassc World were pretty average and he was the best thing about both of the movies. I wish the new Indiana Jones movie will have proper script and director so Pratt can finally score a good movie. And ofcourse NO MORE FUCKN CGI!
