I just don't understand this mentality.. Why do people go around and say that shows with a few cleavage shots here and there is straight up porn? If no nipples are even shown, Why condemm it as porn?
As far as i know it isen't porn until they start showing Dick and pussy, but maby i've gotten the wrong idea of what porn is :O

Well to be fair, if fanservice could get away with it, without changing their rating and hence profit, they'd probably make it into porn. So they straddle the line, by throwing in the most amount of cleavage shots and bikini scenes, to reach the largest amount of satisfactory and still maintain some form of plot.

And it is a science, a very manipulative science.

By that standard, men in anime should look more like this.

On a serious note. I don't think anyone calls Fanservice "Porn". At least not smart people. On the other hand - I dislike Fanservice greatly. It really is juvenile and breaks the immersion if done like in 90% of all Fanservice-Moments in any Anime. Its like slapping me across the face while screaming "here you have your boobies, you nerd!". I don't need it and I have stopped watching some Anime just because of that fact.
