    Your DH professions?

DH's can wear leather and cloth. What say you fellow posters?

    Leatherworking/Skinning?

    Leatherworking/Tailoring?

Sticking to herbalism and alchemy? Enchanting?

    Thought about it yet?

Disclaimer: Yes, it's super early for this, but let's discuss.

If they don't announce any changes to professions, I might just get skinning and mining or something...

Don't really think there's a need to actually seek out professions specifically for the Demon hunter, Seeing how professions don't really benefit you in combat anymore. unless you want to trek through 1-60 zones, 60-70 Outland, 70-80 Northrend and so on to current WoD profession levels. Better off just sponging off your Garrison / other characters who have max profession ranks.

Probably this though maybe trade mining for Herbalism since it's the only profession I didn't have this expansion.

You guys don't think LW or Cloth might be able to make any good items for transmog purposes. Maybe an eye mask, etc?

Note that they can wear leather and cloth in the same way rogues can. Not druids and monks- those guys can use intellect some of the time. But in the way rogues can- for decoration only.

Depends what they do with professions if they are as currently, not going to bother. My army of alts can handle my profession needs quite easily, all classes at 100 will do that for you especially given the ease of leveling.

Hmm my bad, I thought people might have more of an opinion on the topic.

    Engineering + ????

Same as always for me, engineering because yay tinkers and toys and proffessions, nothings ever really fancied or seemed remotely required after wotlk.

MoP had some bonuses but they where all sort of equal(ish) and in WoD all of that was gone, which I find good. I just hope that they would bring back meaningfull recipes and visa versa and make it so that you could get viable gear in other places than "you have to raid to get the best gear, once raided you no longer need any gear from dungeons or crafts at all ever again."

If Blizzard doesn't seriously change professions in Legion, then I won't even bother. If they do manage to save professions I'll probably go with LW and mining.

Druids and monks never use cloth for stats because of the passive 5% primary stat when wearing the right armor type

    engineering ?

Since they gutted profession bonuses, only professions I ever use now are alchemy and engineering.

Alchemy for double flask durations and engineering for whenever-the-fuck-i-want glider.

If jesus smiles on us and demon hunters can control their descent direction midair with their wings like a glider does, i won't need engineering. I'll just be an alchemist. No need for another prof when they're all useless. However if the demon hunter glide turns out to be a shit slowfall that is slow and uncontrollable once you are in air, it will be useless to me and I will have to have a glider.

I suppose if I had to pick one the obvious choice would be leatherworker in case I decided to make my own gear, but honestly I make so much gold so easily but crafting is so time consuming and boring for me, i'd much rather other people make shit and I just buy it.
I like ponies and I really don't care what you have to say about that.

If they alter transmog, with these announced improved mogs, I will likely pick tailoring, as there are some BOP cloth items I would love to be able to mog for my Demon Hunter.

If not I will go mining/JC, for roleplaying purposes.

Yes, I am going to roleplay a Demon Hunter! Finally!

Gotta see first what they do with professions. They butchered them during WoD but with the removal of Garrisons I can see them change for the better again. If they do that I'll probably go Engineering + X.
Engineering is just to good with all the teleports and gimmicks. The X will probably be Alchemy depending on the importance of Flasks and Pots.

I will pick Eng and something probably enchanting or JC maybe.
    Eng for fun purposes

Assuming that gathering professions will be relevant and needed again I'll likely go mining/jewelcrafting.

Will decide when more information is released. They're changing professions again. As it stands, it doesn't matter at all what professions you have on which character, since there's no personal benefit. You get the same use out of professions whether you have them on an alt or a main.
