Moonkin model not updated in 7.0 - how'd you feel about that?

how'd you feel if on launch of 7.0, again, no new moonkin model.. would you be bothered? or are you happy with the current model as it is?

Id be pretty annoyed. I dont even main a moonkin, and its been time for an update since MoP.

With Artifacts changing the form skins for Druid I assume there will be a new Moonkin model to go along with it. They'd have to make ~5 new models for Moonkin, so they might aswell make a 6th new base form.

I wouldn't mind at all. We just got a spectral form-that's good enough for me. Honestly not sure what these people think an updated moonkin form would accomplish. Hi-res or Low-res it's still a giant chicken.

They have to redo the moonkin model, its the only way really.

I think it would be pretty cool to have something on the form itself change as we shift into Lunar and or Solar.

If the model is not updated purely for the fact of Artifact Weapons changing the way other forms look (confirmed for Cat Form, rumored for Bear Form, unsure for Treants...), then there is a huge miscommunication between the playerbase, the World of Warcraft development team, and the art team.

I expect Moonkins to be updated in Legion, at the very least from the Artifact Weapons and customization.

well.. just that right htere, the current model is so chicken-esque, everyone says chicken, it's face resembles a chicken/turkey far more than an Owl, and that's one of the reasons it needs to update, they are Owlkin - owl/bear/man humanoids

and i'd love a new alternative form tho, and i'd have loved unique male/female and models for each druid race for moonkin form.

i think it needs to be something really special to make up for how long it's been coming.

Not really, since weapons are visible on moonkins, but not cats and bears.

Only if they give male/female to cat form as well, otherwise, riot. Female taruen shouldn't have manes.

I dont remember where I've read that , but they said moonkin will not get effects only ferals , so cat and bear , moonkin and tree form be left out.

I'm pretty sure if we had any explicit information about it, somebody would have mentioned it already. You sure you're not just misremembering that?

i think he's right though, remember that you can display your weapon in both Tree of life and Moonkin form, at least moonkin form for sure. So they don't have to alter the form based on epic weapon.

It has been time for an update since bear and cat forms got updates back in LK...

Even the glyph to hide moonkin form has had an update, but not the actual form. Not ever. Troll druid recolor does not count as an update.

Hi res moonkin form is all I want. Giant chicken/owl/bear man is awesome

I don't main a druid, but I love the class! Especially Balance Druids ... and I'm kinda mad because you can't have wings like Malfurion ... no spectral, no giant chicken, but just wings like Malfurion <3
