What is wrong with Africa and Middle east? Are there any wealthy countries there?

im totally serious when I say this so please dont infact me. Africa is so fucked up, and has been for so long, that Black people should honestly be thanking us for slavery.

The US (and a few of our allies) have been messing around with the middle east for a long time (good graphic here - http://i2.wp.com/www.theendofhistory...yTimeline1.jpg - too big to embed nicely here). Additionally, the richer Middle East countries are run pretty much as ideal places per conservative views...the rich few control everything, they don't really care about their own people (or only care about them so much as they buy goods and work factories / oil fields), and everyone else around them can burn for all they care since they obviously didn't earn their keep.

Similarly, the US (and a number of other countries) has been messing around with Africa for an even longer period of time ( http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opi...130448232.html ), and those countries (including the US) were more successful there keeping natives from reaping the benefits of their riches (e.g. diamond mines), so there aren't any really rich countries in Africa (Botswana and Gabon being statistically tied for 1st on that continent with about 1/2 the GDP per capita of France; and South Africa being 29th overall (1st in Africa) on total GDP less than 1/2 of Saudi Arabia).
