My husband and I have to move out of the house we are living in (the owner wants to sell) so we decided an apartment would be our best bet while he works on his certifications at work.
We looked at a few apartments today and found one that we felt perfect. Perfect location for us, and size, good schools, and it's close to the hospital where my son receives his therapies. While it's nothing fancy, it's what we need.
Now, keep in mind, it's myself, my husband and my two year old son. With that said, after looking at the apartments, we were given a contract to bring home and sign, then bring back to lock in the November special. Well, after doing so, I was looking at it on various sites and saw something somewhat (OK very) shocking...there was a shooting at this complex, two people died. Was not domestic, no forced entry, young couple, but no other details were given.
Now, I'm sure after reading the last couple sentences, you see my cause for concern. The apartments, location, size and price wise is perfect for us..but..just that little shooting incident....
I'm just wondering what others would consider doing..
