I get that many Carson supporters find his biography to be inspiring. If his biography is to believed, it is truly inspiring, but his life story alone does not qualify him to be President. There are plenty of people who have cleaned up, found Jesus, and did not profit from it. I'm always suspicious of any Christian who profits off of their redemption because, in my view, that seems to be antithetical to Christ's teachings.

This could be applied to every human being, and even the current person with the pretty smile sitting in the office. He books were inspiring, his speeches the same, but that also did not qualify him a not even complete one term senator to be president. Hope and Change, was more of a sham that even his own party did not totally embraced or he would of got far more done his first term with having control of both house that they probably would not of lost to the republican had they all got more done.

Change came, because they could not even get a decent healthcare bill past and then turn around blame the repubs for bucking him the rest of the way. Maybe if the dems would of taken care of business, they would still be in control of both house. Sadly will never know, but one thing is for sure that not every dems is a socialist or a progressive or the president would of got more done through his own without having to worry about republicans.

Obama's campaign was not run on the strength of his biography. It was mostly run on his policies. Carson has presented some policies, but he is largely running on the strength of his biography.

I agree. I blame Bush for Obama getting elected. This is why Jeb Bush is struggling in his presidential bid and I hope he is not nominated.
