Best alliance race for shadow priest old god theme?

Hello guys, old forum reader here and playing shadow priests since burning crusader!

As we already know, blizzard confirmed the old god theme to explain our shadow powers so i have a question to our more lore experts: which alliance race fits the best with old gods and why?

I would say all of them. The old gods are so far beyond the comprehension of all of Azeroth's living races that no one race is more predisposed to have a greater grasp of their power. That's my opinion though.

None of them really. Old god tentacle monster theme is weird as fuck.

Probably a 10,000+ year old Night Elf who kept in touch with a sibling who was morphed into a naga by the old gods. Then they decided since they aren't going to be a fish monster they'll just grow tentacles instead.

Female Undead, female Blood elf (thinking about changing her to a male Undead) and female Troll for my Horde priest characters.

Lore-wise, anything except draenei works fine. But bonus points if you pick human (including Worgen), gnome, or dwarf due to the whole Curse of Flesh thing. That would give you a slightly more personal connection to the Void that night elves and pandas don't have.


On the Horde side, obviously go with undead for a long list of reasons.
