    Choice mentions:

    Assassination

Bag of Tricks - we've been asking for this of years! Very happy to see it.
Urge to Kill really makes me hope that Vendetta is finally off the GCD.
    Shadowstep exists still, hooray
Blood of the Assassinated - now this is a wierd one, I feel like this is going to build up for as long as you want making it a gamble to build with you betting against your life. No idea if this is good design, but I like the concept.

    Outlaw

Curse of the Dreadblades - another talent that has betting against our life, feels far more 'warlock-y' this time though

    Subtlety

Army of One - Shadow Clones are still a thing! Feels a lot simpler here, no doubt this fails to translate to theorycraft again.
Embrace of Darkness - depending on how strong this is, this could be fairly important.
Faster than Light - I don't know how good this is, but it's a really nice idea haha
Second Shuriken - title very mismatched to ability, perhaps this is gone now, which is good because it's stupidly OP.
blood of the assassinated looks similar to the ring on-use right now, but maybe single target instead of aoe, perhaps still multi target though

Isn't that kinda op? I'm a rogue, but not sure if we are going to have TOO MUCH mobility?
    we have BoS now...
is it possible to have a macro that swaps the two abilities each time they are used? use SS, sprint replaces it, use sprint, SS pops up

I don't think you can do that with macros, tough you could do something like 'use sprint normally, use BoS if alt or CTRL is pressed.'

Not a massive change, but changing the sound effects on some abilities would be nice for a change. Mutilate sounds like you're throwing a stapler at the enemy imo.

    In legion, with those Traits:

    Shadowstep - 22sec CD
    Sprint - 30sec CD

So, effectively, 2 sprint charges. But with shadow-step its more like being able to keep up with your target for a longer duration.
Something tells me that melee are going to need these in the arms race thats coming.

From the Shadows sounds so boring for a golden trait. It's basically Arcane T18 2pc.

BoS is no longer a thing for any spec in Legion. They removed it, lowered sprint's CD, and made Shadowstep baseline. (but also removed prep)

Shadowstep is currently 24s cd. Lowering it by 8sec makes it 16s and being reset using shadowstep.

Shadowstep is 30 seconds according to legion datamine.

The artifact talents make the spec look a little less boring, but we'll have to wait and see. Every spec has got some pretty interesting talents, I hope the penalty on your offspecs isn't too great. Would love to raid with all 3.

Its boring to finally get decent aoe and having Gul'dan anad Garona helping you?

very nice artifact talents that tie in with our abilities. It also offered more of the puzzle of how we will play in legion

Poison Vials has been asked for ages. This is a big plus for Assassination fun.

For me it is as I want to have stuff to do myself instead of some awkwardly summoned npc do shit for me

Yes, I'm Assassin, not someone who require help of an old Orc and stupid half-orc/half-draenei who was caught by me, which makes her worse rogue.

    Poison Vials - Big +.

So exactly, what would be your amazing ideas if you we're almightly Blizzard employee?

  16. #56
So am I the only one who looked at the artifact calculator and thought to himself: the old talent tree is back? It's a much cooler talent tree, i admit, but it's back in all it's glory. The more things change.......

  17. #57
nope, not the only one. And it's not...quite... the same. Relics are said to boost ranks of certain traits up to 5, so there's some interesting customization options that can occur.

The old talent trees gave the "illusion" of choice - there was always optimal and if you weren't optimal you were bad. These traits are something everyone will get, there's no some here some there. and relics will customize and boost the traits. It's more controlled than the old talent trees were

This pretty much. As an alliance rogue it's insulting enough to use basically former horde daggers (doubly so if you're a human), but having guldan proc from them in addition to the hated Orc bitch I assigned her alt universe to suffer cleaning latrines in my Garrison? What. The. Fuck. Is wrong with Blizz?
