Any warrior tanking tips for Mythic Xhul?

Just started on him tonight after downing Tyrant. Anything I should know to make it as easy as possible? Obviously it'll be a bit easier after tomorrow.

Trinkets you'll be using: Anzu's Plume and World's Resolve.

Turn off all that shit on your timers that you don't need to see. Pretty much only have add spawns, the timers for both strikes (or just yours if you really want to make it super simple.) Be prepared to use externals in times where your defensives and shield block aren't handy as damage really piles up quick and you can go from 100% to 0% in like, one and a half GCDs. Trait for Shockwave to help with imp stuns, you can stun imps every spawn if you get at least three targets in it... Uh, Gladiator Stance for the extra 5% damage reduction. That's about it. And make sure you always have a shield barrier up for Felblaze Flurry.

If you're the only prot warrior tank, you'll want the fel add since you can shield block most of his blade flurry attacks.

This fight, although seeming very basic for tanks, is pretty stressful for tanks that aren't used to being vocal. One mistaunt can usually wipe a raid. Just be smart and you shouldn't mess up.

If you're going with the fel, I don't think you need World's Resolve; you could go with Kilrogg Eye or a Stam trinket (stone sigil) in addition to Anzu (This fight rewards stam; I'd go with a stam flast and stam food for progression -- it can provide a nice buffer if/when your healers need to run out of range of you to drop their fire).

Try to time your blocks for the flurry and the strike if possible; or at least for flurry and have a barrier for the strike. Use everything you have while the green add is up (including your pot, and externals); the fight becomes incredibly easy from an inc dmg perspective once your add dies.

The only hard part after it dies is the taunt swap, which can get get dicey when he does some quick casts (and he can change color at the very last second if you're just watching for the color change). Since he can swap targets mid-cast of his major strikes, the easiest thing IMO is to just watch the cast bar and taunt when your strike is happening (it avoids mis-taunts causing taunt timers to be on cd).

Disregard the world breakers resolve trinket choice, it's not nearly as important this late in the game Acp + anything will work fine. fel cleave trinket is best IMO. Reason being the hardest part of the fight lasts 30 seconds, which you can cover with externals and personal cds. But the extra damage you provide to imps will help ease the dps requirements. Sbarr is your best friend on this fight for slashes especially with 4pc, even if you have a 0 resolve 60 Rage Sbarr it'll knock more dmg off a slash than world breakers resolve trinket will.
