No, it was satellite imaging and various intelligence groups that pin pointed the location. The information gathered from detainees did not point to him being in Pakistan, but Afghanistan. Which is one of the reasons we wasted nearly a decade looking for him in Afghanistan.

Just because you don't want it to be true, doesn't make it less so. Enhanced interrogation techniques were used to divulge Abu Ahmed al-Kuwati's importance and significance, who was the key instrumental link to bin laden. This information was not freely given by prisoners, it was obtained during interrogations. If you actually bothered to click on any of the links I had posted, you would see, clearly, that enhanced interrogation techniques were used, and not just waterboarding.

CIA paramilitary operatives located al-Kuwaiti in August 2010 and followed him back to the Abbottabad compound, which led them to speculate it was bin Laden's location.

All of which leads back to information received from enhanced interrogation techniques.

But was it harsh interrogation that led to the critical information? The identity and whereabouts of the courier came to light only years later, after the enhanced interrogation had stopped.

Responding to the controversial depictions in the film “Zero Dark Thirty,” Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said the U.S. would have gotten Osama bin Laden even if so-called enhanced interrogation techniques, which many say are torture, had not been use
"Yes, some of it came from some of the tactics that were used at that time, interrogation tactics that were used,” he said, carefully avoiding the use of the word "torture." “But the fact is, we — we put together most of that intelligence without having to resort to that.”

In fact, the third links lists incorrect information that resulted from interrogation all the way back to 2002. 9 years was wasted following these dead leads like:

Since the name Maulawi Abd al-Khaliq Jan appears in the JTF-GTMO detainee assessment for Abu Faraj al-Libbi released by WikiLeaks on April 24, 2011,[30] there was speculation that the U.S. assault on the Abbottabad compound was expedited as a precaution.[31] The CIA never found anyone named Maulawi Jan and concluded that the name was an invention of al-Libbi.[25]

You are still repeating something that as Felya demonstrated, didn't actually help get Bin Laden.
