Of course many people regard the usage of 'people, person, man and woman' to apply to Homo sapiens sapiens or any species in the Homo genus exclusively as people. So would it even be right by most standards to describe them with these words?

In my opinion I would say any entity that displays self-awareness, problem-solving, a sense of rights, ethics and most importantly the want to be classified as a man or a woman should be entitled to Personhood on a de facto level if not a de jure level.

No, it is happening. The zone changed, it belongs to the Goblins now and is their home. Hearthstone is having a mechanical themed expansion soon, November's cardback is Goblin influenced and revealed concept art shows Goblin machinery. It's a HS expansion, sorry.

When we come across such beings they are likely to have a name for themselves, which they'll be introducing themselves with.

    Example:

(some alien) *points to itself and the group it is part of* "Trah"

It then is safe to assume that either the species or that group of aliens is called "Trah". Most logical way to addres them would be Trahs.

They arent comparable... the difference in cognitive ability is more exponential than progressive, the intellect of a 6 year old is no where near the intellect of a 20 year old.
A lot of human intellect comes from education and culture, which is set in the young years of life and becomes the basis for everything else, without that, yes we're hardly better than the most aware animals, and thus the huge disparity in cognitive ability between educated and uneducated nations.

Experiments with wild children reveal very fascinating things about it...
Also, seems that octupii, crows, and chips hold the crowns for closes to humans, more so than other apes/simians oddly enough. Dolphins aint that bright it seems. http://www.npr.org/2014/10/05/353919...ou-might-think
