Damn muscle memory.

I started Dark Souls 2 and tried to use Circle to jump, only to find that they mapped it to L3. What the fuck? Yes, I know you can change it to Circle like it was in the first game, but why would you change it in the first place when it worked just fine the way it was?

And maybe it's just me, but the controls don't feel as good as they did in the first game. The combat also isn't as satisfying. It just doesn't have the same "oomph" the first game did.

Dark Souls 2 is pretty shit. They changed the movement speed and swing speed of most weapons, and with the introduction of agility (roll stat) your rolls also clip into enemies by design in Dark Souls 2. It is all in all a horrible game. But fear not, Dark Souls 3 is much, much better. They went back to Ds1 gameplay with 3, mixed it with a bit of Bloodborne tho but I don't complain.

Also L3 is a objectively superior control scheme considering if you run on O you gotta release the button, then press it again. With L3 you just press it. It's faster by definition.

I do miss them quite often. Such a shame they are not around anymore, gotta wonder what they are doing.

Scholar of the First Sin Edition wasn't _that_ bad ... still the weakest of the dark soul games by far

Like 8-9k people are online most of the time. It's a huge server, one of the biggest there is and certainly the biggest TBC server.

There's always more hordies. Especially in STV

I'd like to play the next expansion if I can get my computer upgraded, which should be possible with the new job I'm starting today. Gotta get me a new motherboard and RAM, my motherboard always eats a stick of RAM when I try to upgrade it.
