Very long crappy story behind my absense, but in the end, it results that I ended up with a severe concussion and can't do much more than art so...

Well my hubby got himself a new job in another city but had to go without me to secure the position. So I was left to pack the house alone. Not a big deal, BUT, I jumped up under an open cupboard door in the kitchen, smashed my head so hard I knocked myself out, woke up and went "shoot, how long was I out? Guess I need to work hard to make up the time lost." Which was the WRONG thing to think and so...yeah...I took a bunch of pain medication, and got back to work immediately.

It was only after getting very sick from that that I finally took a break, but I literally had no one but my very young son to say "maybe this is a concussion. maybe rest."

Turns out if you don't you can end up with permenant symptoms, like passing out, for getting confused, or forgetting where you are. The doctors tested me for a bunch of things but it all just came back to having caused myself damage by not resting AT ALL after giving myself a severe concussion.

So yeah...between that and some other issues, I can't hold down a job anymore. I've tried, but even when my boss is aware of the fact I could pass out any time, the fact that my productitivty can always take a nose dive without warning is enough to keep anyone from employing me for long.

I'm so sorry you went through that. It's a real shame it had to happen, but it's a good thing that you are alright.
