Livestream question

So Im currently building my New PC. I put about $1400 into it. Still waiting for 2 parts to come in the mail before I finish it.

So my question is, I have pretty shit internet. I live in a small town and all I can get is around 6-8mb download speed.

Will this setup be able to livestream with that speed?

Yes, although the quality may suck. Just get your settings adjusted and see how well you can manage it. It'll take some time. Post a link of your speeds...via http://www.speedtest.net/ and i'll see if I can help with your settings...I use OBS. That's what I know best.

yeah its pretty junk. No alternatives around where I live & this is the highest amount they offer. Im paying about $70 a month for this. So any one got any advice for what I can do to livestream? Its really the only reason I built a new PC because my current one couldn't handle it with this internet. Was hoping a new PC would fix it.

Live streaming will rely more on your upload speed than your download speed. Although a new PC may help with the performance of streaming, its not going to increase your upload speed.

0.5 mb upload is too low for decent quality streaming, all you can do is contact your ISP and see if they can increase your upload bandwidth.
