If you aren't using TSM, you are doing it wrong. Players are only getting more sophisticated as addons become more and more powerful, you can't be surprised for being broke if you refuse to evolve and keep up.

It mostly comes down to time. If you are fine with investing more time and dont mind having to relist multiple times you can keep an higher price. When stock on the AH runs low (what I say is mostly true for trade goods) someone will buy it eventually. But if you just want to get rid of stuff and get your gold youre better off undercutting. Your profit margin is going to be lower but you get the payoff faster.
