Rate the best Class Story !

Mostly starting this thread out of my own curiosity but propably many other new players may find this very question within their mind.
Only got experience about Sith Inquisitor story so far (Chapter 2 atm) and wondering which one I should go for next.

Tier 3: Sith Inquisitor, Republic Trooper

Tier 4: Bounty Hunter

The Bounty Hunter story was the best in my opinion.
Being in it purely for the credits is a just cause

I didn't really need to separate it out much more than that.

Of course different chapters in each of their stories were better than others too but thats how they were overall to me. I also agree with you on the consular. It's a love/hate thing. I enjoyed it as it was a change of pace from the rest.

Knight > Warrior > Smuggler (not because the story was amazing, just because he has so many good one liners) > agent

I like a few chapters of other stories. Chapter 1 for the BH is amazing, but 2-3 are kind of dull. CH 2-3 for the consular, 2-3 for the trooper, CH 1 for the inquisitor are all very entertaining.

The knight story by itself isn't as good as some of the others, but what sells it for me is how well they involve some of the companions. Kira, Scourge and to a lesser extent T-7. They just really feel like they are an important part of my team and not random bodies I picked up.

I've only done two (though I've participated in party in three others), but I have to say that between Jedi Consular and Sith Inquistor, I feel Jedi Consular is the better story so far.

Loved the hell out of the overall story of Consular, have plenty of good memories being a giant badass in Warrior, Agent had fantastic dialogue and characters even if the story made me want to slam my face through my desk, and literally everything about the trooper was boring and bland and awful -_-

Some day I'll get around to the rest, was working in Inquisitor last I played so will likely finish that first.

I'm also in the "love it" camp, and have never really understood the hate it sometimes gets.

I see a lot of votes for the Sith Warrior. I've only ever made it to Balmorra as a Warrior, before other things distracted me. Is there a way to hint at why it's so popular without, obviously, spoiling anything major about the storyline?

Doesn't feel the same to me. I was horribly disappointed by the Inquisitor story, given that they'd pitched Inquisitors as politicians and influencers behind the scenes. All I seemed to do in the quests was be Sith Indiana Jones.

Just finished my Sith Inqusitor storyline. As it being my first finished class I have to say, Im amazed!

The Consular storyline is a lot better then people say it is. I just started Chapter 3 and its pretty good. Good mix of diplomacy, political intrigue, and action.

I finished Chapter 1 of Trooper as well and its good. I LOVE the FemShep voice acter(Jennifer Hale), playing as a snarky cocky young female soldier is just awesome.

Bounty Hunter on the other hand has already bored me and I'm only on Dromund Kaas.

Only played through Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight but...

Sith Warrior (Dark Side) was awesome, felt truly evil at some points.

Jedi Knight (Dark Side) was boring as hell outside of Tython, hated it. At times it felt like my character was Bi-polar going from evil one minute to kind and caring the next, I also really hated Kira Carsen because she never made it fucking clear what she liked and disliked (Saying to a sith that he should die for what he's done and then disapproving when I killed him), kind of ironic that it's the same voice actor as Jaina in WoW (Not that I dislike said voice actor, she did Serana in skyrim and the female main character in Saints Row really well, it's just Jaina and Kira I hate due to their personalities). I'm worried that other republic classes will be equally boring, so going to put off playing them for a while.

I'd do more class storylines, but I don't like the planet storylines that much, which makes leveling a bit of a chore for me. Guess I gotta wait for a 100% bonus weekend again.

EDIT: Just finished Sith Inquisitor, It's now my new favorite storyline, absolutely loved it all the way through.
EDIT 2: Imperial agent was fun, but dark and depressing in some places. So far it's my third favourite. Loved the variety of choices.
Trooper was meh, one or two good moments. Putting it in fourth.
Jedi Consular was meh like trooper. Minus the occasional good moment. Putting it in fifth.

Currently looking at smuggler next, looks like it might be the only decent republic story. Bounty Hunter is promising so far too (On dromund Kaas currently).

In summary:

-Neutral Inquisitor in 1st
-Sith warrior (Dark and Light) in 2nd
-Imperial Agent (Mix of dark and light but mostly light) in 3rd
-Neutral Trooper in 4th
-Consular (Mix of dark and light but mostly dark) in 5th
-Knight (Dark side because the light side choices all looked boring) in 6th

Bounty hunter and smuggler I have yet to complete, but I have no doubt they'll beat knight. Planning on doing them both Neutral, but so far leaning dark quite a bit.

I voted Imperial Agent, I also really enjoyed inquisitor, warrior and knight. In the end most of them have good elements but some of them have some really slow parts (BH chapter 1 is stretched to long)

In relation to the expansions and the way the class storylines are tied in with the main story of the expansion packs I'd say you only really need to play warrior, agent and knight (and maybe consular) because these stories actually have parts in them that they refer to in expansions. Inquisitor and trooper are mostly faction orientated and smuggler and bounty hunter feel more like filler stories giving background info on the universe.
