Is it alright for a man or a woman to be attracted to someone that is more bigger/fatter over someone that is more skinny?

As a fit man I myself thinks everything that is considers "normal" up to a little chubby is attractive but when it comes to women that are considerd fat I just get turned of, then again that is my opinion. Like my best friend is skinny but has a huge girl.
So what I am trying to say is that it is your own opinion that counts.

I think it comes down to looking masculine or feminine. There are men and women that are bigger that are clearly masculine or feminine in appearance, think of a guy power lifter. Desirability comes from the animal attraction, so typically men and women with the higher sex hormones will be more attractive, this rule applies to everyone.
