Question about seasons

I haven't played RoS before, just stopped in the pre-patch before it. How do seasons work? Do I get to keep the character after the season ends? Do they keep paragon levels they earn?

All this is answered in the season FAQ in the launcher. Can't seem to find it from a search on my mobile but the gist is that at the end of a season, everything that you had that was seasonal gets added to your non seasonal stuff
Seasonal characters are still in your character list, just not flagged as seasonal anymore. Your stash gets mailed to you. Recipes learned get added to the blacksmith and jeweler. Transmogs get added to the enchanter. Paragon XP (not levels but the total xp value of all your levels) is added to your non seasonal pool, meaning non seasonal Paragon 100 plus seasonal Paragon 100 isn't 200 but rather something in between. Like 150 or whatever.
