Is this way of farming mounts no longer available? People report that all their chars are getting wrong saves etc compared to what it used to.
Edit: LFG Finder and not LFR.

I've never tried this method, but I must ask. How does this relate to LFR?

I think he's talking about the Group Finder which you use to look for someone with a raid lockout that allows you to go straight to the mount boss.

I'm pretty sure he meant LFG not LFR since I believe the way its done involves creating a LFG listing and inviting alts.
I've not used the method in a long time so I don't know if its still working.

Worked for my Firelands lockouts. Just have to make sure you set it to raid on the character who makes the group with the lock
Mount Count: 378. Newest addition: Arcadian War Derple
Pet Count: 859 (678 at Max Level)

eh, never had to set raid mode, just extend save on saved char, set lfg & relog > join group & go kill stuff.
On 7th char tonight doing icc+ds right as I write.
