    Chronicles lore spoilers

Edit: If you're reading this for the first time do everyone a favor and not create a new thread on the topic on the official forums. It's spam so post in an existing topic. Also sad I'm seeing new threads in the story forums linking to this thread when they were discussing it long before and that if anything should be linked it should be the Scrolls of Lore thread since that's the origin.

Titans are dead and a whole buncha other stuff. Surprised no ones posted this yet it's been a couple hours. Goes on for a few pages, TONS of big lore.

    http://www.scrollsoflore.com/forums/...20419&page=600

    Halfway down. Discuss.

Void Lords responsible for Sargeras downfall?

Also I was wrong, read further, the wound is the Well of Eternity. The magic waters there are literally the blood of the titan soul inside Azeroth, bleeding out from the wound left by killing Y'Shaarj.
    Interesting.

Same. I can't wait to read every page for myself. The book seems worth every cent.

There's a lot to post so posting some of my favorite.

Just got to the origin of the Burning Legion.

Sargeras decided he needed his own army to fight the Void Lords, and he remembered the demons. He had defeated them and imprisoned them on a world he created called Mardum, the Plane of Banishment. Since demons can't be killed outside of the Twisting Nether, Sargeras created Mardum to store their souls, so that once the demons regenerated phyiscal forms, they'd already be stuck on Mardum.

He traveled to Mardum and shattered the planet, causing a massive explosion of fel energy which hideously disfigured him. Now transformed into a demonic creature of fel magic, he used his new power to bend the demons to his will. The destruction also tore a hole in the Great Dark Beyond, forming a gateway to the twisting nether. Now countless demons could stream out at all times, whereas before demons were a relative rarity.
Sargeras part 2: Panetheon finds out.

After forming the Burning Legion, Sargeras went on to destroy a world for the first time. It didn't have a world soul, but it had been ordered and thus had a constellar like Algalon watching over it. When the constellar came to see what had happened, Sargeras killed him.

The Pantheon was confused that their constellar hadn't reported back, so they sent Agrammar to investigate. He saw the Legion destroying the planet, and Sargeras leading them. Outraged at his former masters' betrayal, Agrammar challenged Sargeras to single combat. They fought, but Sargeras was far more powerful, as titans are naturally weak to fel magic. Both of their blades split in two, and Agrammar fled to warn the Pantheon.

The Pantheon decided to hold a meeting with Sargeras over a world called Nihilam. They thought he could still be reasoned with. At the meeting Sargeras again insisted what he was doing was the only way to stop the Void Lords.

Agrammar sensed there was still a noble soul beneath Sargeras' madness, and walked up to him, unarmed, pleading for Sargeras to listen to reason. He said they had found a new world soul, of a titan named Azeroth, who would one day be strong enough to destroy the Void Lords. Sargeras used his sword to slice Agrammar in half vertically. The Pantheon was outraged over the murder of fellow titan, and fought a massive war with Sargeras.

His fel magic was too powerful and Sargeras killed them all with a massive storm of fel fire. Little did he know, Norgannon had cast a protective shround which perserved the remaining Pantheon members' spirits, so that as their mortal bodies were destroyed, their spirits would live on.

Nihilam came to be known as Doom World, the site of the Legion's destruction of the Pantheon. Even worse, Sargeras now knew the existence of Azeroth, of a world soul powerful enough to defeat the void lords. He didn't see it that way, he saw it as a world with the potential to birth the ultimate evil if corrupted by the Void Lords first. So he set out to destroy it.

More on the Void Lords and relationship with Old Gods.
The Void Lords are so heavily connected to The Void (which is a separate dimension, like The Light. The void and light stuff seen in the mortal realm are just those dimensions bleeding through rather than the full thing) that they cannot physically manifest themselves in the mortal realm. The closest they came was by creating the Old Gods, which act as physical entities of pure void and carry out the Void Lords' will. There is a way for the Void Lords to enter the physical realm, the knowledge of that is what caused Sargeras to snap and decide the universe needed to be destroyed.
More on Sargeras and his split with Pantheon.

The Pantheon never spoke to him all that much. Sargeras was constantly off fighting demons in various parts of the universe. Even Aggramar only saw him occasionally (they decided to split up so they could fight more demons at once).

The last straw was when Sargeras killed a world soul. When Sargeras came to warn them about the Void Lords and explain what he had done, the rest of the Pantheon was outraged, but Sargeras said it was necessary to stop the Void Lords. The Pantheon refused to accept such a thing could be necessary, so Sargeras left in a rage and never spoke with them again.

Spirit Healers are not a gameplay only thing.

After Helya was freed from her slavery to Odyn by Loken, she helped him depose Odyn and imprison him and his valajar in the Halls of Valor forever.

Most val'kyr either remained enslaved by Odyn in the halls, or pledged themselves to Helya. They created their own afterlife to take vrykul souls to: Helheim. But there were a select few val'kyr who remained within the Shadowlands. They decided they would just help any spirits they found return to life.

So basically spirit healers are a type of rogue val'kyr.

No, he killed them kill them, they tried to retain themselves by a something but it didn't work and its actually pretty sad, makes me feel for Raden. Here:

Agrammar is permanently dead. The other titans, well, I've read further, they're permanently dead too. Norgannon's plan didn't work out in the end. They tried to possess the bodies of the keepers on Azeroth, but it didn't work. Their souls were destroyed and the keepers only got a flash of memory and emotion from their creators which quickly faded. Confused, they asked the Pantheon why they had been given these visions, but never received an answer.

The ''We have fallen, we must rebuild the Final Titan'' Line in MoP, just got 100% clear. That was Amanthul's message to Ra'den from millinia upon millenia ago. That was the last time the Pantheon made contact with a watcher and that watcher was Raden.
