[Shadow] Do i go for haste or mastery?

Hello. I've recently gotten around to playing my priest again. I'm very casual just doing occasional raid but i still like to min-max to some extent.

I've just obtained 4piece and class trinket, but im getting mixed answers when i look around the web to see if i should go haste or mastery.
Before you tell me to sim i'd like to point out i've never done such before and is prone to screwing it up giving an inaccurate result so i rather consult you peeps.

If you could also tell me when i should go for the other stat (if such a change occurs at certain itemlevel or when DSI is obtained etc) i'd appreciate it greatly

As for haste vs mastery, unless you are fully heroic geared or partially mythic geared go for mastery. The haste rotation relies on stable latency as well as ~35% haste to be played well. It takes a bit of practice to perfect it as well. I would stack mastery and swap to haste later if you want.
