Any thoughts on recovering Benediction in Legion?
I deleted Benediction in BC, but was denied an attempt to restore due to the recovery changes and lost data over the years.
They are able to see I completed The Balance of Light and Shadow (Quest) which is proof I had 2 of 3 items: The Eye of Divinity & Splinter of Nordrassil (Crafting Items). I have no way to prove I cast The Balance of Light and Shadow (Crafting Spell), as far as I know, nor a way to prove I ever had The Eye of Shadow (Crafting Item).
Perhaps I can ask for a restore of the items I can prove I earned, and go on the expensive hunt for The Eye of Shadow? Any info on your experiences especially appreciated.

Sad to say it, but I doubt it. Same goes with my t3 - as I remember it, it was a quest. I deleted it near the end of TbC , and got to regret it when they introduced transmog way later. RIP complete frostfire set :'(

Damn. That's an unfortunate start.
I was really hoping the quest bit would help, come Legion, since they might be willing to restore my 2 quest items at least, and let me use a purchased The Eye of Shadow to recreate Benediction.Last edited by OreoLover; 2016-05-22 at 04:26 PM.

If it is for transmog purposes, won't the new Legion wardrobe system account for that? As we will get all the transmogs for which we completed the quests (as far as I know).

I requested that I'd get Rhok'delar restored, and I got it restored. And this was... last year
But yes, as Eliot says, it should be in the legion wardrobe thingie.

It's not proveable by quest progress that you obtained Benediction/Anathema. All that you know of is that you obtained two out of the three required items to create the staff.

Doesn't hurt to try, even if you are only able to get the eye of divinity and the splinter you might be able to find someone with an eye of shadow.

Decided to go on the hunt, after all.
Hoping to trade someone a WoW token (or same gold) for The Eye of Shadow.

Honestly when dealing with GMs there is a huuuuuge difference on who you come across. Some will do things that others won't, it's pretty weird. Gratz on staff!

i understand a screenshot isn't good enough because people use addons that mog items to different items, and you could photoshop in the stats of the staff from another screenshot.
