    Which one should I buy?

    I currently have this monitor.
    I currently have this gpu.

I am looking to either buy a 480/1060, or a 1080p 144hz monitor. Which is the better buy/upgrade based on my current parts?

Looking at something like this monitor if i choose 144hz. Also considering the 27 inch version but ive heard 1080p starts to look bad after 24 inches. Ideally id rather have something thats 1440p and above 60hz but I dont think thats possible for under 300 dollars.

What are you playing? 144Hz monitors make the most difference for FPS games. If you dont have fps problems and you play mostly FPS games then get a 144Hz monitor. Acer GN246HL, Asus VG248QE and BenQ XL2411Z are good entry level choices for 24 inch and BenQ XL2720Z for 27 inch. And no, 1080p doesnt look bad on 27 inch, I'd even say that sub-24" are not real 1080p. You can definetely get 1440p around $300 but I'd go 27 inch ones so cheapest are Acer K272HULbmiidp and AOC Q2778VQE (IPS and TN ones).

Play a lot of different games. Mostly WoW, but a lot of Overwatch and random steam games. Play a lot of triple A games as well. Basically, most blizzard games and the hot games.

Well I'd say go with either 1080p 144Hz or a new videocard. You wont be able to play on 1440p comfortably with your current videocard. I'd also look into selling your current videocard and getting a GTX 1070 and getting a 1440p monitor later.
