We’ve reached that stage of the campaign. The back-to-school commercials are on the air, and the “unskewing” of polls has begun — the quadrennial exercise in which partisans simply adjust the polls to get results more to their liking, usually with a thin sheen of math-y words to make it all sound like rigorous analysis instead of magical thinking.
...
The basic premise of the unskewers is wrong. Most pollsters don’t weight their results by party self-identification, which polls get by asking a question like “generally speaking, do you usually think of yourself as a….” Party identification is an attitude, not a demographic. There isn’t some national number from the government that tells us how many Democrats and Republicans there are in the country. Some states collect party registration data, but many states do not. Moreover, party registration is not the same thing as party identification. In a state like Kentucky, for example, there are a lot more registered Democrats than registered Republicans, but more voters identified as Republican in the 2014 election exit polls.
A person’s party identification can shift, and therefore the overall balance between parties does too. Democrats have typically had an advantage in self-identification — a 4 percentage point edge in 2000, a 7-point advantage in 2008 and a 6-point edge in 2012, according to exit polls — but they had no advantage in the 2004 election. Since 1952, however, almost every presidential election has featured a Democratic advantage in party identification.

What was Kasich almost a month late to do?
Also, my saying the range of possible interpretation, does not mean I am saying someone said it. It means I am including the full scope, both above and below your statement of:
The point wasn't that someone said, but that they would be just as wrong as saying he endorsed him or that he is ready to endource him or that he has shifted even a little. See, the max and min and your quite in between. As in, you are just as wrong as those who have the opinion that he did endorse him or that his stance changed a little, which is what I said...
Didn't you just say a few pages ago that saying something is bullshit is something an adult wouldn't do?

Ah, American arguing geography? How cute.
http://www.heritageinstitute.com/zor...sm/iranpersia/
The names Iran and Persia are often used interchangeably to mean the same country. Iran is the legal name. Persia, was an ancient kingdom within Iran. Iran came to be known as Persia in the West thanks to classical Greek authors during whose time Persia was the dominant kingdom in Iran. To call all of Iran 'Persia', would be like calling all of Britain 'England'.
The name 'Persia' comes from 'Pers' which is in turn the European version of 'Pars' - an area that is today a province of Iran (see the map at the bottom of this page). 2,500 years ago, when the present provinces of Iran were kingdoms [at one time Iran (then Airan) consisted of 240 kingdoms*], Pars was known as Parsa, and the kings of Parsa established an empire that came to be known in the West as the Persian Empire - the largest empire the world have ever known to that point. In those days, Parsa was the dominant kingdom of all the Iranian or Aryan kingdoms.

When "Persia" became "Iran"
This article is a part of "Persia or Iran" by Professor Ehsan Yarshater, published in Iranian Studies, Vol. XXII, No.1, 1989.
In 1935 the Iranian government requested those countries which it had diplomatic relations with, to call Persia "Iran," which is the name of the country in Persian.
The suggestion for the change is said to have come from the Iranian ambassador to Germany, who came under the influence of the Nazis. At the time Germany was in the grip of racial fever and cultivated good relations with nations of "Aryan" blood. It is said that some German friends of the ambassador persuaded him that, as with the advent of Reza Shah, Persia had turned a new leaf in its history and had freed itself from the pernicious influences of Britain and Russia, whose interventions in Persian affairs had practically crippled the country under the Qajars, it was only fitting that the country be called by its own name, "Iran." This would not only signal a new beginning and bring home to the world the new era in Iranian history, but would also signify the Aryan race of its population, as "Iran" is a cognate of "Aryan" and derived from it.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent out a circular to all foreign embassies in Tehran, requesting that the country thenceforth be called "Iran." Diplomatic courtesy obliged, and by and by the name "Iran" began to appear in official correspondence and news items.
At first "Iran" sounded alien (for non-Iranians), and many failed to recognize its connection with Persia. Some (Westerners) thought that it was perhaps one of the new countries like Iraq and Jordan carved out of the ruins of the Ottoman Empire, or a country in Africa or Southeast Asia that had just been granted independence; and not a few confused it with Iraq, itself a recent entity.
As time passed and as a number of events, like the Allied invasion of Iran in 1941 and the nationalization of the oil industry under Prime Minster Dr Mohammad Mosaddeq, put the country in the headlines, the name "Iran" became generally accepted, and "Persia" fell into comparative disuse, though more slowly in Britain than in the United States.
Uh you think Bolivia is Iran? Not sure how what else it could be since my comment was Bollocks lives in Bolivia and therefore your claim about "Easy if you actually know history; i understand it is not popular in America" was meaningless. And you responded with a cut and paste about Iran. So amusing.

Good. The "sane" Republicans don't understand that the Trump primary was 110% about fuck you and fuck your establishment, and about 10% about Trump is kinda funny. If this party splits and the Republican party ceases to exist, literally every single true conservative in the country will be happy. We are sick and tired of all this religious nonsense, that had fuck all to do with the party until Reagan decided he could win against all demographic odds by including them in his platform.
If the Tea Party movement didn't get their attention, maybe this will.

Someone may want to explain to Trump what the polls actually are saying.
No Pivot Here: Trump Asks, Why Would I Tone It Down When I'm 'Winning?'
After months ago promising he would tone down his rhetoric as part of a more "presidential" general election pivot, Donald Trump on Tuesday said that it doesn't make any sense for him to change his strategy now that he's "winning."
"I think that you know my temperament has gotten me here. I've always had a good temperament and it's gotten me here," Trump said in an interview with Fox Business, according to a transcript of the appearance. "I certainly don't think it is appropriate to start changing all of a sudden when you have been winning."
The GOP nominee was also on the network to talk about his tax plan, which he rolled out in a campaign event on Monday.
In another Tuesday morning interview, Trump responded to Hillary Clinton's criticism that his economic policy team is loyal to special interests and just composed of "six guys named Steve" by saying more names for his advisory team would be announced in coming weeks.

You are lumping 350 million people in to the same barrel? That's bigotry defined right there. If you think it's possible for 350 million people to all be alike or agree on one thing, you are not exactly a deep thinker, are you?
Also, fuck your nation bashing, and w/e backwater shit hole YOU are from. /tip of the hat
