I only looked at your ursoc fight but i did notice a few things.

You are not pandemicing your immolates before you conflag. you are supposed to Immolate-> immolate-> conflag-> conflag in the opener if you are using RB. this is a huge dps loss for you.

Also use GrimServ on ursoc, it is your go-to choice for every encounter in EN.

First off, I love your holy pally's name.

Anyways, you play a lot with roaring blaze, but you need to change up how you use conflag. I suggest you refer to the stickied guide if you havent but the practice is double immolate for full pandemic and them IMMEDIATELY double conflag. As soon as you finish that second immolate cast you have a strict time limit to fit as many conflags as possible, so get your charges on cooldown early. I'd even go so far as to say if you’re bloodlusting, just eat a wasted shard to get those first two conflags out, it's that important. At this point you want to be casting conflag on cooldown (though make sure not to shard cap). Let immolate fall off the target completely, then refresh ONCE (don’t pandemic). Then wait for two charges of conflag, cast immolate for a full pandemic, and start over.

If you improve your roaring blaze usage immolate should be about tying or exceeding your chaos bolt damage.

As for other things, don’t use sac unless you’re hard aoe’ing, use service instead. Make sure you’re constantly using havoc. Also for fights where you’re target switching a lot (like Cenarius), I’d recommend backdraft, it helps you pump out more burst damage to priority targets.

Have discovered some huge discrepancies between Skada, Recount and Warcraftlogs. Which one should I trust to be the most accurate one on logging my DPS?

Hey there everyone, so I am having a bizarre issue. I am at 861 iLevel and my gear, secondary stat wise, is fairly decent (Destruction Warlock). And from what I'm hearing from guild is that I'm in the bottom 28th percentile in terms of DPS for my iLevel. And also whats more bizarre is the fact that my Incinerate is doing more damage than Chaos Bolt. I have no clue what I am doing wrong, anyone give me a hand?

Think I have my basics down but would love any feedback on things I could do to improve my performance. This is a log of a full normal clear and a couple heroic kills. Our guild is very casual, and we're playing to have fun and see content. That being said I am looking to improve my performance, specifically on destro. I am Demo main spec but will switch to Destro for certain fights (Sceptre is at 18 points, while my knaifu is around 22). Gear isn't perfectly optimized but I'm working on it. So yeah any tips on obvious holes in my game would be greatly appreciated, and please excuse the wild variance in the quality of my DPS from fight to fight, I'm still learning and haven't really raided since vanilla so I'll take any help I can get, thank you!

Hi,

I would love to get some feedback on how I could improve my dps. I recently rerolled so I havent played the class much at all. I think I have most of the basics down but I make mistakes every now and then. I believe one of my biggest problems is wasted movement, I notice how my dps drop straight to the bottom as soon as I get a debuff or something that requires me to run away from the boss. I could really use some tips in how to improve in that area. See the attached logs for me playing demonology on Nythendra and Elethre Mythic.

Hi, I could use some help here. I know demo locks should be doing more then me and ursoc's kinda a crazy gear check. I'm running doombolt and synergy, don't think shadowflame over demonic calling would explain why I'm so low compared to what other locks are pumping out. Any help would be appreciated (I'm Clommo). So I need some help with my demo lock.

A few things I'm aware of and need to adjust, but still not enough to make enough of a difference to catch the better performing locks.

1 - I didn't pot at all
2 - I don't have a neck enchant
3 - No legendary
4 - Trinket needs to improved
5 - My weapon is a few points behind
6 - Need less mastery, more haste
7 - I also know I'm missing some extra casts cause I'm not timing fights properly sometimes, so need to get better

Am I missing something? Even with all those changes, I don't think I can make up the difference I'm seeing when comparing to others on warcraftlogs

You have 14 soul shards wasted - 11 from demonbolt and 3 from doom.
Those 3 from doom aren't something you should be concerned, since with overlapping of Doom, you shouldn't bother too much with that, but on the other hand, wasting soul shards via Demonbolt casts is something that is easily fixable.
Not sure how are you tracking your current soulshard count. I am using addon called zPets (you can check it on curse.com there are screenshots of it) to track them. You can setup Weak Aura also, but addon does the job if you are lazy as I am.

and your Demonic empowerment uptime. You have pretty long downtimes in that line where you haven't recast it.
Make sure to use your Artifact active ability with:
on prepull => 2 Dreadstalkers(+2imps riding on their backs from improved talent)+4 imps+Doomguard at pull => with 2 dreadstalkers+4 imps when it's back from cooldown. Make sure that all your pets are empowered before casting Thalkiel's consumption. (Addon also tracks that)
Changing these should give you pretty big dps increase.

How much os stats you are prioritizing and testing?

Have you tried simulating your character?
Shoulders also have int so item level weights more, but I think simmulating is right, try both single and AoE to see how they fare.

I am missing 60k DPS! on my Demon spec.
SIMC calculated that my current DPS is 277k, but I cant put out more then 210k (Max 235)

My rotation: Demonic Emp. > Dreadstalckers > Demonic Emp. > Apply doom > Demon bolt till 5 shards > Grim. Felguard + Doomguards + HoG > Demonic Emp. > Consumption > Fill with Demonbolt > Dreadstalkers > Demonic Emp. > 4 shards Hand of Guldan and Rotate!!!

I try to cast Dreadstalkers on CD, and I am casting HoG on 4 shards (sometimes 5) and Demonic Emp. after each summon. AM I DOING something wrong?
I would be ok for me, if it would be 20k diffrence between SIMC and my output but 60k is a LOT! On Destruction I am pretty close to SIMC (10-20k is missing)

I would like someone to go over my most recent logs and figure why am I doing so much less dps than the other warlocks in my guild.

I have this sinking feeling that it's mostly to do with ilvl but would like to be sure. I've been getting EXTREMELY unlucky with gear :/ everything I get on M+ is crit/mastery bullshit.

I just took a quick look at your last Cenarius try. May be you were just unlucky with mechanics, but you were running a lot. (think of our strengths and stack that debuff a little higher )
Further it looks like you're sometimes using 2 conflags (with BD skilled) in a row and also wasting some of your BD benefits casting portals/immolates after conflag.

Well, i'm not so familar with demo, but if you look at warcraftlogs' compare function, you can see you're using a different opener and lose a lot of dmg there while BL. (and you missed your prepot)
Interestingly your doom did the same DMG without the belt..

I've done extensive research on Demo locks and put what i've learned into play. However I still feel like i haven't reached my optimal performance. I think I have the correct rotation down and do everything i can to maximize my dps. If yall can take a look and let me know where i can improve. Now i dont have enchants where i should but other than I think my toon is pretty well rounded. Any advice is gratefully appreciated.
