Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell Blames Obama For JASTA Veto Override.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/obama...-arabia-2016-9

The short and sweet of it is this: McConnell realizes after the fact that Obama was correct about the potential ramifications of JASTA, and proceeds to blame him for not convincing Congress that he was correct. God forbid Congress actually consider the ramifications of their own actions beforehand.

Too late america! I'm already preparing my class action lawsuit.

On a more serious note, I thought they were aware of the ramifications, but they thought bringing justice to Americans was more important or something along the lines of that.

Seriously, McConnel can go fuck himself with a rusty chainsaw running at full speed. Fuck that man in every way possible. He needs to own up and take the blame for the stupid decision to override the veto (and initially vote for it), same with every Democrat that voted for it.

Talk about some serious buyers remorse and trying to blame someone else for your own fuckups. The Obama administration was clear from day one why this was a terrible idea, if McConnel and the rest of congress didn't want to listen that's their problem.

Man, the theme today is most definitely not taking responsibility for ones actions.

I think the worst we've gotten so far is letters of rebuke from some of our longstanding allies, but the lawsuits are coming, I have no doubt.

Will they blame Obama when they aren't reelected? Who am I kidding, of course they will be reelected.

That's some seriously Olympic level mental gymnastics going on that they blame Obama for not convincing them of the seriousness of the ramifications of overriding his veto. Sorry Republicans, this was all you. You own that veto override.

Well, they got help from DEM too ? Or would they been able to override the veto on their own, at least in Senate ?

No, this is on both parties, unfortunately. Congress as a whole were covering their asses for reelection time.

No WAY! Holy fuck the GOP is dumber than a sack of hair. The shit just keeps rolling in. McConnell is, and always has been, tremendously ridiculous.

It's sad, but their base will probably be 100% behind McConell's bullshit attempt to shift blame.

No, not a chance. McConnell is blaming Obama for this - the Dems aren't. That's the entire point.

Let's not let the Democrats off either, the vote in the senate was 97-1(Harry Reid voted no).

No, shame on McConnell for this ridiculous notion of "I can't think for myself".

The Dems are not the ones blaming Obama, now, are they?

The chutzpah of McConnell - refusing to listen to Obama's warnings and then complaining that Obama wasn't talking to them.

They still could have voted Country before politics. Shame all around, sure McConnell can have the majority of the blame.
