Your vote still completely matters. Your choice is simply running in 50 elections, instead of one. Win your state or stfu.

    1. To ensure all states have at least some level of representation.
    2. This is just fearmongering, no, the electoral college won't go out of their way to vote for the candidate that lost the election.

If you haven't noticed there's no moderators replying in threads at the moment = no moderator about.

Yes, cos that makes things better...

I'm pretty certain there's rules about insulting people as well as discussing moderation. You'd think they know about these loopholes. But, my guess is you'll get away with it, because it was so blatant and they'd rather tolerate you than open themselves up for the usual censorship accusation that you're undoubtedly going to sling out once they infract you.

It's a lose-lose with uncivilised people. Which nicely brings the circle back to the topic. :P

Lol Dictator Trump is coming folks. I don't dislike the guy but I think he will be the one to try and bend the constitution. And honestly, If he is good for our economy and gets people to work...many will support him blindly. Going to be an interesting 4 or 8 years.

So I didn't vote for Trump, but it does seem kind of hypocritical of the left to blast every person he could appoint with ties to wall street or Washington. Hillary ,for a fact, was gonna do the same thing.

So you are really just gloating because Trump said he wasn't going to? Seems incredibly petty. Especially considering "your" candidate was gonna do the same thing.

You need to be more worried that the house and senate is in Republican hands in conjunction with Trump. I vote conservative, not trump, and I'm worried what some of these idiots we have will come up with.
People working 2 jobs in the US (at least one part-time) - 7.8 Million (Roughly 4.9% of the workforce)

People working 2 full-time jobs in the US - 360,000 (0.2% of the workforce)

Average time worked weekly by the US Workforce - 34.5 hours

Only one of them ran an "outsider" campaign. Clinton didn't run around telling everyone she was going to "Drain the Swamp". Trump routinely attacked Clinton for exactly what he's doing now.

Literally the only name that's been floated so far that isn't Republican standard fare is Bannon, and that's hardly commendable.

What, you mean that a billionaire real estate mogul with a pouty mouth is not actually outside of the establishment ?

No way ! Who would have thought that !

This Mnuchin guy obviously knows his way around money and financial institutions, why not give him regulatory authority? Long as Mnuchin is willing to work for us citizens I'm fine with it.

Clinton never claimed she was going to "drain the swamp" or end put an end to the "establishment".

My question becomes - would you rather have someone from Washington with political expeirence. Or someone truly from the outside? As an obvious liberal, would you rather Trump kept his promise or rather he puts people in place that have been around ?

I know the obvious answer is you won't be happy with anyone he appoints because you aren't happy with him, but if your choice is ONLY Washington/wall street insider or some random dude he knows , which would you prefer ?

I'm not so much worried yet, I like to give each new balance of power it's time. But you are right...got some goofballs in office.

What I would want is irrelevant when it comes to discussing Trump reneging on core platform planks before he even takes office.
