A significant percentage of Americans don't consider Catholics to be Christian.

"What is The Left willing to give up, to compromise on, to change about its internal culture and beliefs?"

By that I mean, what are the negotiable beliefs that can be compromised on to bring the left back towards the middle where democracies will be more willing to trust and vote for Democrats/etc?

    Some possible themes and areas:

    - Abortion
    - Reproductive rights
    - Gay marriage
    - Gender theory
    - Political correctness
    - Social welfare
    - Cross-sectional feminism
    - Climate change
    - Obamacare
    - Positive discrimination
    - Capitalism vs socialism
    - Censorship
    - etc

A simple statement like "I think Democrats should give up on this area"
Lol, what an "objective" query. The left is moving the country forward - all the issues above help the country/world. The right is dragging everyone down - including those that don't know they are being dragged and support the right's "common man" theme.

Hmm I guess I need to link to you the definition of a question then.....

But fine let's say, for argument's sake I believe for one second you're not conservative, did you ever levy this same argument at the party of the Moral Majority, yes or no?

Nice cop-out, but I'm not buying it. It was obvious you were making a foolish assumption.

    Which party would that be?

That aside, yes, I've used that same argument on many, including both religious types and atheists (myself being an atheist.)
