As a general concensus, I think most Canadians didn't care. Generally Canadians, especially those of us in the Pacific coast, are more informed about US politics than Canadian. Politics here are fairly tame, and that 'disgusting speech praising a controversial political leader' was absolutely tame. I mean some of the more controversial things Trudeau did include elbowing/shoving a Member of Parliament during a heated debate, or using the word "Fuck", and having to public apologize for it. Seriously, some middle-school stuff, and these are the extreme examples....

I mean this is nothing compared to Trump having talks with Taiwan and causing China to start militarizing the South China Sea. And he's not even President yet! I'm not trying to excuse or divert the subject, but honestly, that is the situation in Canada. It's hard to get upset at the dog shitting the carpet when your neighbour's house is on fire.

He doesn't have to. The law says that little shithead can stay in office until the next election which is in another 2 years and 9 months. Not that the opposition choices are much better, some of the idiots running for the Conservatives are as fucking dumb as Harper was. Also unlike you and others of your modern day ilk who think global warming is the world's greatest threat, my belief it is man who's the worlds greatest threat. When i say man, I think of communist, socialist, and religious zealots. They are responsible for over the lost of 100 million lives +. Their ideology will wipe out whoever doesn't think like them. They reach in to your pocket. Control what you can and can't do, and they hold you at gun point if you don't follow their ideology. Look up (persecution of the Christians by the USSR.) I can point to other world leaders who were tyrants who are also socialist and communist in the last century and even in modern times.

They're a plague upon society always trying to control the thoughts and beliefs of another. They're the real enemy of this world. However you wont understand because you're a part of that problem.
